The first pizza was baked in Naples in 1700, while 150 years later the first pizzeria, Antica Pizzeria Port’Alba, appeared in Naples. This pizzeria still exists!
The first pizzas were Marinara (tomato sauce, garlic, tomato, oil, oregano) and Margarita (mozzarella, tomato, basil).
